The ‘Starhatch’ print was spawned by the realization that the Snowboard Magazine star logo shared the same geometric angles as a classical Persian hexagon pattern. A successful mash-up of the two created a subtly interweaved branding further detailed by a two-toned pinstripe fill. The design of all the collaboration projects was influenced by the color art direction for the magazine; black and white with gold highlights inspired by premium cigar labels.

Collaboration products designed included Oakley goggles with gold cloth bag, a backpack by Dakine (designed by Aaron Draplin), a pair of DC Shoes with gold stitching, custom embroidery and starhatch printed insole and a New Era fitted cap featuring the ‘Patriot’ colorway red and blue stitch.
