Urban Argyle
of
This pattern was inspired by the venerable M.C. Escher’s woodcut entitled “Metamorphosis II” but rather then a transition from birds and hexagons to an Italian harbor we have the classic argyle motif transitioning to a modern urban complex.
This is one of the only patterns in my portfolio that was created while working ‘in-house’ as an Art Director but ironically it’s final application was very different from how I envisioned it so here I present Urban Argyle in wallpaper form allowing space for the intricacies of shape to be viewed in perspective.
